The award celebrates some of the most important achievements across the UK wind energy sector, and being named a finalist is a testament to the dedication, expertise and collaboration demonstrated by everyone involved in developing the project.
The award submission focused on a key aspect of Morecambe’s approach: its strong and proactive commitment to enabling successful coexistence between offshore wind development and existing oil and gas infrastructure. Through close collaboration with stakeholders across the offshore energy sector, the project is helping to set a benchmark for integrated offshore energy delivery and demonstrating how renewable energy developments can thrive alongside established offshore industries.
This achievement reflects the innovation, commitment and hard work of the entire Morecambe team and our partners.
